WinDirStat

WinDirStat is a disk usage statistics viewer and cleanup tool for Microsoft Windows (all current variants).
WinDirStat reads the whole directory tree once and then presents it in three useful views: the directory list, which resembles the tree view of the Windows Explorer but is sorted by file/subtree size.
The treemap, which shows the whole contents of the directory tree straight away.
The extension list, which serves as a legend and shows statistics about the file types.
Identify how much disk space you’re using with WinDirStat.
Based on the Linux application KDirStat, this great piece of freeware offers you an informative visual display of your hard-drive usage.
It can also analyze your local devices. Depending on the size of your disk, the initial WinDirStat scan may take quite a while, so be prepared to go grab a cup of coffee for 5 to 10 minutes.
After the scan has completed you’ll see all of your files (for the drive or directory you decided to scan) displayed in a rainbow of colors.
WinDirStat assigns colors to each file type, such as MP3, ZIP, EXE, JPG, and so on.
By default, the files that take up the most space are colored blue, the second heftiest are red, and the third largest green.
After the first 10 color-labeled file types, the rest appear in gray–but you can change these settings and colors through the Options menu.
Once you’ve identified where your disk space has gone, you can then more easily decide where you can save space.
WinDirStat is loaded with features for managing your files, such as the ability to automatically delete files without even bothering with the Recycle Bin.
It’s one of those tools that you didn’t know you needed until you started using it, but once installed, it’s hard to imagine life without it.

Notepad++

It’s also a lightweight replacement of Notepad.

Notepad++ has some noticeable differences from WordPad.
Support for tabs is key, letting users manage different documents simultaneously.
Line-numbering is important, too, a feature that nobody mucking about in C should be without.
The interface is much simpler compared with some of its competitors.
A familiar row of icons with their mouse-over labels sits at the top, and one row of tabs is just below that.
The rest of the screen is made of nothing but pure white space. All the coding tools live in the menu bar, with some represented on the toolbar.

Revo Uninstaller

Revo Uninstaller is a freeware innovative uninstall utility much faster than Windows Add/Remove applet.
With its advanced and fast algorithm, Revo Uninstaller scans before and after you uninstall an application.
After the program’s regular uninstaller runs, you can remove additional unnecessary files, folders and registry keys that are usually left over on your computer, and claim to remove them on restart but they don’t always do.
Even if you have a broken installation, Revo Uninstaller scans for an application’s data on your hard disk drives and in the Windows registry and shows all found files, folders and registry items so you can delete them.
Where the built-in and sluggish Windows Add or Remove Programs option fails, freeware Revo picks up the slack.

The Tools Optimizer holds the Autorun Manager, Windows Tools access screen, and a Junk File finder/killer.
The Autorun Manager provides one-stop shopping for startup tweaking.
Windows Tools pulls together various and disparate basic utilities under one umbrella, and the Junk killer is just killer.
The Tools Tracks Cleaner accesses cache-cleaning features, include standard browser cache functions as well as crash memory dump files, MS Office cleaners, system-wide and program-specific search histories, and more.
Another cool function is the Hunter, which offers click-and-drag uninstall and process-killing functionality.

The program also includes a registry cleaner to locate and correct problems in the Windows registry, such as missing references to shared DLLs, unused registration entries for file extensions, and missing references application paths.
CCleaner can be employed to uninstall programs.
In addition, CCleaner allows the alteration of start-up programs, similar to the Microsoft Windows MSConfig utility.
Users can disable start-up programs to speed up computer boot time.
As of version 2.13.8, CCleaner also allows users to delete system restore points.
